KIA e-soul review: prices, consumption and engines
The new KIA E-SOUL debuted at the Geneva Motor Show from 7 to 17 March. For her, two power trains to choose from, zero emissions and up to 452 kilometers of autonomy on a single charge.
New KIA E-SOUL first quarter 2019 is available. Still no indiscretion on the list prices of the new Korean hybrid but the release of the new urban crossover is expected and exclusively in the electric variant, all ready for the first quarter of this year.

Compared to the previous version, the new Kia e-soul is 6 cm longer but the width and height dimensions remain unchanged, with a wheelbase of 2.60 cm (3 cm more) and a front overhang longer than 1 , 5 cm.
Front LED headlights, integrated into the upper part of the front, and 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. The charging socket is housed behind a small panel on the front and the LED fog lights, elongated under the headlights, replace the round shapes of the previous model.
For the first time on Kia e-soul we will see an Uvo Connect infotainment system, with a 10.25-inch screen, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Thanks to the integrated Sim Uvo Connect allows the pilot to always be connected to his car.
Preparations and interiors
The new Kia e-soul will be available in seven monochromatic body variants and seven two-tone combinations with an optional SUV pack that includes still- marked wheel arches and a skid plate integrated into the front bumper.
The internal space of e-Soul keeps the speakers that close the dashboard and can be customized with a range of one or two-tone color combinations, with the possibility of a choice of fabric and synthetic or real leather for those who want to give a touch more stylish to your crossover.
The available combinations are monochrome gray, or two-tone, with door trims in pearly, black or gray fabric, fabric and synthetic leather, or in real leather, with contrasting light gray stitching and metallic door covers.
Green or Gold packages are available as an option for the black fabric finishes, which offer gold or green contrast stitching and door trims.
For those who opt for the black leather interior, there will be the possibility to choose the “red pack” option, which includes red sport seams and matching door trims.
Also for the most demanding, an option, we find the Sound Mood Lighting, a system that emits a soft light from the door panels that pulsates to the rhythm of the reproduced music, the charger for wireless smartphones at the base of the dashboard, heated and ventilated front seats, the Harman Kardon audio system and the Head-Up Display.
New KIA E-SOUL: consumption and engines
The new Kia e-Soul will be marketed exclusively as an electric vehicle with the possibility of choosing between 204 hp and 395 Nm torque engines, and 136 hp and 395 Nm of torque.
In the first version the 64 kWh battery pack powers a 150 kW electric motor that offers 452 km of autonomy on a single charge, while in the second the 39.2 kWh batteries power a 100 kW electric motor capable of offering 277 km of autonomy.
Both battery packs can be recharged from 20% charge up to 80% in just 42 minutes and, once on board, you can choose between three driving modes: Normal, Eco, Eco + and Sport.
The Korean company will offer a guarantee for the new e-soul for 7 years, or 150,000 km, which will also cover the electric motor and battery pack.
