Personalise your computer

Change your computer background to something unique. The first step is to click on your desktop, (without any applications visible), and then right-click. Click on “Personalise”. You will be presented with a screen that gives you the option to change your image. Here you can also change the desktop fonts and colours. Clicking on “Browse”, you can upload your family photo or a picture of your pet if it is saved to your computer.

Make a movie out of your photos or videos

Windows Movie Maker or Video Editor can be used. Apple devices can be used with iMovie. These applications allow you to download photos or videos from your PC or portable drive and sort them into an order. You can also add special filters like fadeout, star or swipe. You can edit your photos

You can find some excellent photo editors for free. Macs and Windows devices are also loaded with standard photo editing software. Upload the photo to your computer. Open your photo-editing programme, you can then resize the image, crop it, rotate it, change its colour, remove any red eye, and add a free filter.

Digital art programmes are a great outlet for creative people. You can create free-hand designs using a programme such as Paint 3D for Windows or Preview for Apple devices or you can bring in a photo to be heavily edited. You can edit the colours, add text, and add shapes. You can get lost in a digital wonderland!
